Hi, the name's Donnie. I'm one of 'em scary queer, neurodivergent people trying to make it in a world that's right now crashing and burning. I usually keep my online presence reserved, only ever resurfacing to like and share anything that catches my eye nowadays.

My journey to creating this website began when Carrd was at its peak of popularity. Like many other people, I made my own Carrd to serve as an introduction site for those who were interested in learning more about me. While I enjoyed using it, it felt very limiting and didn't offer much creative freedom. I didn't have much experience in CSS/HTML coding until I started messing around with templates created by other users on Toyhou.se (editing, Frankensteining…you name it). I can say that my coding skills have improved since then, which has given me enough confidence to make a personal online space where I can be myself and retreat to when things get too overwhelming.

Other than that, I don't use social media as much as I used to. The pressure to post and engage on a regular basis just to get a few likes and follows just isn't cut out for me. I still use it to some extent, but I don't post very often.
